Digging bars can serve many purposes to landscapers. They come in handy especially when planting large plants and trees. The blade end of the bar can be used to break through tough clay or rocks when digging the hole. If your digging bar has a flat or rounded end as well, this can be used to pack the soil tightly around the root ball once the plant is set in the hole and soil is added.
