3/4" garden hoses are excellent with pressure loss. They pump out over 23 gallons per minute (GPM). When you consider that 1/2" diameter hoses only put out 9 gpm, that is nearly 1/3 the amount of water that a 3/4" diameter hose can produce; And because of the larger diameter of these hoses, they barely loose any pressure over distances. These would be the hoses to look for if you are doing commercial landscaping, or have a yard or garden that is over 100 ft long. 2 hoses can be connected with minimal pressure loss if they are both 3/4".
